Peg Out Survey Sydney
Your property boundaries exist on paper at NSW Land Registry, but on the ground they're invisible lines. A peg out survey makes them visible - we place physical pegs at each corner so you, your builder, and your neighbour can see exactly where your land ends. It's the definitive answer to 'where can I build my fence?'

Mark What You Own
Old survey pegs disappear. Gardens grow over them. Landscapers remove them. Builders lose them. When you need to know where your boundaries are right now, we re-establish them using the same NSW Land Registry records the original surveyor used decades ago. Under the Surveying and Spatial Information Act 2002, re-establishing boundaries requires tracing back through the cadastral network - finding reference marks in the street, on adjoining properties, and in the original Deposited Plan. We measure from these marks using precision GPS and total stations, calculate your corners using the official DP dimensions, and place new wooden or steel pegs you can see and measure from. This is essential before installing a fence on or near the boundary, because if you build even 50mm over the line, you might be forced to remove it under the Dividing Fences Act 1991. It's also required before constructing buildings close to setback limits, as councils and certifiers need proof the building position complies with the DA approval. For subdivisions, we place Permanent Survey Marks (PSMs) - concrete-sealed steel pegs that become the legal reference points for the new lots. These are certified and recorded with NSW Land Registry Services as part of the subdivision registration process.
